Each year the AquaZone crew is made up of both Veteran and Virgin Burners. We start our group process in January with ticket purchase and have planning, building, cleaning, and packing sessions throughout the year where newbies can get to know veteran burners before we hit the Playa. Everyone participates with their own personal contribution, encouraged to explore and share what is most meaningful to them. Everyone shares in cost, labor, food prep and clean up. We take pride in Leaving No Trace and prepare everyone for the Clean Up as well as the Set Up. Anyone who is interested and willing to participate is included — we’ve had Virgins from as far as France join our camp! Our Virgins always seem to come back, and some even go on to create new theme camps of their own.
